We’re currently looking for a permanent Mooring Lineshandler to join our dedicated Mooring Team. This team plays a key role in shipside operations, ensuring vessels are safely and efficiently moored while in port.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tying up, letting go, and maintaining ships during their time in port
  • Operating and monitoring advanced mooring systems including MoorMaster and ShoreTension
  • Planning and rigging lines, and completing all wharf line work
  • Operating mooring machinery such as loaders, tractors, forklifts, and utes
  • Installing and removing water connections and gangways
  • Assisting with buoy maintenance and other marine-related tasks

This role involves both wharf-side mooring duties and broader port-related responsibilities, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our Marine Team.

About you:

  • Hold a valid full driver’s licence
  • Willing and able to learn shore mooring systems
  • Demonstrate leadership and teamwork to support safety and service delivery
  • Committed to working safely within a Just Culture environment
  • Physically fit, with quick reflexes and strong situational awareness
  • Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
  • Experience in marine operations is a plus
  • F endorsement and OSH forklift certification are advantageous

Our Mooring team operates on a 7 on 7 off roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
