The Role 

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Intermediate to Senior Level) to join our innovative and proactive IT team on a full-time permanent contract. The focus of the role will be to build and maintain our inhouse Software Applications, delivering both resilient and reliable software solutions that meet business requirements. 

The Full Stack Developer is a key role within the Software Development team reporting to the Software Manager. The level and scope of responsibility will be aligned to your experience.

What you’ll do 

  • Design, build, test, and maintain full-stack applications, integrations and services supporting port operations and internal business systems.
  • Provide technical support for inhouse applications, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
  • Work with the Software Development team to implement and maintain Software Solutions with a core focus on security and resilience. 
  • Drive software development best practices and collaborate with team members. 
  • Work with the wider Digital Technology teams to deliver projects that align with key business objectives.  

What you’ll bring 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Computer Programming/Science/Systems or related technical field.
  • Extensive experience in C# .NET application development, maintenance and support.
  • Experience with the following technologies is advantageous
    • Front end, eg. Vue, Angular, React
    • Server side, eg. .NET MVC, .NET Core
    • Mobile applications, eg. .NET MAUI, Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin.Android 
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. 
  • For senior candidates, the ability to take ownership of solutions, influence design decisions, and support team capability uplift.
