We are seeking an experienced Communications Advisor with broad corporate communications skills to join our team for a fixed term of 14 months to cover for maternity leave.  

The Communications Advisor is a key member of the Communications Team, responsible for providing communications leadership, support and services to the CEO, the senior management team and the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

  • 3+ years of corporate communications experience in a dynamic operational or commercial environment;
  • Adept at building partnerships with and connections between internal and external stakeholders;
  • Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic working environment;
  • Ability to manage often complex projects and change campaigns;
  • Keen instincts for identifying and managing risk.

This role requires a practitioner who is able to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, think strategically to protect and enhance Napier Port’s strong reputation, and deliver solid-gold communications results.
